These are web3 enabled accounts that are created by using user's preferred web3 wallet and issuing them an NFT(721/1155) and further enhancing its operations by converting this user's NFT into a Token Based Account using ERC-6551 standard.
AXES NFTs are issued by the AXES MainRegistry(link to contract) and a single entry point contract to the AXES ecosystem. All the rights and privileges are defined within the NFTs and you can always override the privileges if you decide to change the type of user. For example a typical user get NFT Type - A which doesn’t have privileges to publish an Applet, to enable privileges as an Applet Publisher you can claim the NFT Type - B and always NFT Type B will now override the NFT Type A and extend more rights to the user within the ecosystem.
